Decoupage Card
Materials
Clear contact, images, tea stained writing
Decoupage is an ancient art form that essentially involves the cutting and pasting of images onto hard surfaces. This little composition was created out of pictures torn from magazines, layered onto an adhesive transparent sheet, and cut to size. Printed tissue paper and serviettes also work well, but you can basically colour copy anything onto thin paper, including fabric, handwritten documents, maps, and botanical sketches. Squeeze and dab a used teabag onto the paper for a simulated sepia effect.
The best things in life just happen.
