I do believe in fairies! With a selection of beads, fabric flowers, felt, wire and a little imagination, tiny fairies magically spring to life. When making things on a small scale, being judicious with the design elements is important. Try this for yourself by systematically adding and removing items, or trying different hues of the same colour, rather than lots of colours, to see what has the most visual coherence. This elimination and discernment is integral to the creative process, so just follow your own design aesthetic.
